Obituary

Ethel Marie Van Wye “Marie” was born January 11, 1943 in Milan, MO to Frank and Clella (Stewart) Van Wye.

Open visitation will be from 9:00 a.m., until 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Slater Neal Funeral Home of Trenton. Burial will be at a later date in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell, IA.

Marie was a kind and considerate woman who never had a bad thing to say.

Surviving relatives include her grandchildren Arscenio Stuckey and Tamara Jackson, and four great grandchildren Paige, Thomas, and Armond Stuckey and Carlin Jackson. She is also survived by aunt Cindy Stewart, nieces and nephews Amy and Kevin Harris, Dylan and Preston Harris, Julia Boram and Quincy Holles, Marshall Holles and Claire Armes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Janet Garrett, and brothers Larry Gene Van Wye and Everett Victor Van Wye.
